We learned our craft in the most demanding corner of solar: off-grid, where there is no grid to fall back on and a design that falls short means the lights go out. For more than ten years that discipline: measuring real consumption, sizing honestly, choosing components that won't let you down has been our daily work. Your grid-tied or hybrid system is designed with exactly the same care.
We start with how you actually use power, not with a brochure. Often smart load management, running the hot water cylinder or the pool pump while the sun is up, does more for you than extra panels or batteries would. We would rather build you a smaller system that is designed well than a big one that isn't.
Our advice is straight. If a smaller system serves you better, that is what we'll recommend. If staying on the grid is genuinely your best option, we'll tell you that too. Our business succeeds when your system quietly does its job, year after year.
Component choice decides whether a system is still performing in fifteen years or in the skip after five. We work with equipment we know and trust from years of installing and monitoring it. Every manufacturer has its sweet spot, we match the brand to the job and tell you honestly which one fits yours.
Every system ships with proper monitoring, so you, and we, can see exactly what it is doing. And because we build software as well as solar, monitoring doesn't stop at the standard dashboard: custom alerts, reports and integrations are all done in-house.
Design and advice is charged at $120+GST per hour. The first hour is complimentary if you proceed with us. If you decide not to go ahead, that first hour is charged at the standard rate. There are no hidden costs: we agree on scope and an estimate before work begins, and we keep you informed if anything changes.
